Environmental analyzes as part of the Study of conditions and directions of spatial development of the city of Pruszków – rules for protection of the environment and nature

Environmental analyzes are an element of the Study of the conditions and directions of spatial development of the city of Pruszków in terms of the assessment of environmental resources and the formulation of guidelines ensuring the protection of their values. They concern an area with a highly urbanized landscape, dominated by single-family and multi-family housing with additional services and industry facilities. An important natural element of Pruszków is the Utrata river valley and a part of the Raszynka river valley, which are part of the Warsaw Protected Landscape Area. Cultural values, in particular historic parks, are a valuable supplement to the city’s landscape. In terms of nature protection, including the most valuable natural areas and natural connections, the need to designate and protect the natural system in Pruszków was indicated as planning guidelines, which would allow for the preservation of the most valuable natural areas and ecological continuity. In order to maintain a clean environment and to counteract environmental nuisance, the analyzes formulated principles of protection against pollution, including in particular protective measures for areas in the immediate vicinity of facilities generating excessive noise and air pollution. In turn, as a way of protecting the landscape values, it was proposed to abandon activities that could disturb the spatial order of the city or cause the loss of natural values of landscape elements. The analyzes also included planning recommendations aimed at the protection of historic buildings and areas.
