Study of conditions and directions of spatial development of Wyszków Borough
The Study of the conditions and directions of spatial development for Wyszków covers the area of the entire borough – 16 520 ha. Spatial structure of the borough has a fairly clear division into three zones. South-eastern part of the Bug river consists of forests, meadows, undeveloped greenery and wastelands, with a relatively small share of areas intended for development. The central part of the borough is dominated by residential and service development areas, downtown and urban areas, as well as industrial, production and service development areas. The area in the north-west of the borough is mostly open lands, agricultural lands and small forest clusters. The housing and service development in this part of the borough was limited only to the areas along the existing and planned communication routes. Due to the nature of the borough, the dominant function of the study is the protection of natural and landscape values and the creation of conditions for shaping harmonious development.
