The Local spatial development plan for the National Stadium area covers the area of the former 10^th Anniversary Stadium and the Europe Market operating within it. An important element of the planning works was their coupling, as part of cooperation with the National Sports Center, with the investment process implemented under the provisions on the preparation of the final tournament of the UEFA Euro 2012 Football Championship. The provisions of the plan, concerning the area which has been used improperly for a long time, constitute the basis for the implementation of orderly development, allowing for increasing its intensity, among others. This can be achieved by designating service and exhibition functions in the plan, while maintaining the main function of the area as intended for the development of sports and culture services, and maintaining valuable park greenery on the grounds of the National Stadium.
