The Study of the conditions and directions of spatial development for the city of Siedlce covers the whole area of the borough within its administrative boundaries – 3,190 ha. In later years, changes were made to parts of this document – three of which were carried out by BPRW S.A. There are forest complexes on the outskirts of the city. There is a concentration of production and service or technical areas in the northern and eastern part of the study area. Most of the remaining areas of the city were designated as residential and service areas or larger areas and spaces of concentrated services. A railway area runs through the center of the city from the southeast, dividing it to the north and west.
