Study of the conditions and directions of spatial development for Zabrodzie Borough

The Study of the conditions and directions of spatial development for the city of Zabrodzie covers the whole area of the borough – 9,200 ha. The borough consists of many small towns, the largest of which (in terms of the concentration of residential and service development areas) is Zabrodzie. The Via Baltica expressway runs through the borough, dividing it functionally into the area associated with the Bug river valley and into more urbanized areas with natural development trends. Many residential and service development areas were designated along the roads. Zabrodzie is an example of a rural borough where agriculture still has a dominant function. Most of the area consists of agricultural crops and forests. Service and production areas are concentrated within the south-western part of the borough.
