Report on the evironmental impact of the construction of the A-2 motorway on the Stryków – Konotopa section – construction project stage

The main subject of the environmental impact report, made as a part of the environmental impact reassessment, was the motorway section from the border of Łódzkie / Mazowieckie voivodeships at 411 + 465.80 kilometres to 431 + 500 kilometres on the border of the Baranów Borough along with accompanying devices and facilities (passenger service areas, motorway maintenance circuit, toll collection points). Another issue tackled by the report was reconstruction of the existing roads, including the motorway, and devices constituting utility infrastructure: water and sewage networks, overhead power lines (low voltage, medium voltage and 110 kV), overhead and cable telecommunication lines, gas lines, heat pipelines and drainage devices.

The report specifies the degree and manner of taking into account the environmental protection requirements included in the decision on environmental conditions and other decisions that were issued for the project in question so far. The document also includes the scope and scale of the planned project’s impact on the natural, social and cultural environment, and the scope of the necessary impact monitoring as well as an application regarding an area of ​​limited use.
